We offer personal editorials and commentary on news, as well as share curated syndicated content from publications worldwide. We also feature reviews of emerging women artists and crafters, share favorite women-centric podcasts and book recommendations, and showcase various forms of creative expression, including poetry, photography, and video content.
Additionally, we provide practical advice on topics like finding the right bra fit and navigating the recovery journey after a mastectomy. Our content is as diverse as the female experience itself, with each article crafted to resonate with the realities of women’s lives.

Who We Are
Co-Founders Robin Jaffin and Dédé Wilson have been friends since meeting at Hampshire College in 1979. Over the past 45 years (!) we have partnered in 4 businesses together – now including our launch of The Queen Zone™.
United by a shared vision and a deep-seated friendship, we embarked on a collaborative venture, founding Shift Works Partners, LLC, and launching FODMAP Everyday®. Together through FODMAP Everyday®, we aspire to empower individuals to embrace self-love and holistic well-being through the transformative power of knowledge and food. For the past 7 years we have brought evidence based resources, recipes and inspiration for the millions of people who suffer from Irritable Bowel Syndrome and are following the low FODMAP diet. Our website, FODMAP Everyday®, and our social media accounts reach half a million people a month.
We thought what would we love to do next? We came to realize that we wanted to see and read more from and about other women. To bring more of her story to the forefront. Thus The Queen Zone™ was born.
Robin Jaffin, Co-Founder & Managing Partner
Robin Jaffin is an accomplished business leader with a strong background in sustainable development, human rights advocacy, and corporate social responsibility. As the co-founder and managing partner of the digital media partnership Shift Works Partners, LLC through two online media brands, FODMAP Everyday® and The The Queen Zone™ she has played a pivotal role in promoting dietary solutions for individuals with specific needs in the health and wellness industry as well as amplify the voices and experiences of women worldwide.
With a notable 17-year tenure as a Senior Director at the international labor rights non-governmental organization, Verite, Robin directed programs related to supplier management, agriculture, and raw material programs in partnership with companies such as The Gap, Disney, Philip Morris International, Levi Strauss, Mars Corporation, the United States government, along with international NGO’s such as Human Rights Watch, Polaris and the ILO showcasing her expertise in fostering positive change within organizations and industries. Her dedication to sustainable business practices and international relations underscores her commitment to creating a better world.
Dédé Wilson, Co-Founder & Managing Partner
Dédé Wilson, a seasoned journalist with over 17 published books, co-founded Shift Works Partners LLC. This digital media partnership operates two online brands, FODMAP Everyday® and The Queen Zone™.
Dédé’s extensive career includes a decade as contributing editor at Bon Appétit magazine, host of three public television series, sponsored by KitchenAid, had a monthly segment on CBS The Early Show as well as the syndicated Emmy-winning The Better Show. Dédé hosted national television food segments on shows such as the TODAY Show, Dr. Oz, The View, QVC, HSN and others. Dédé conducted recipe development for corporate clients such as Williams-Sonoma, Driscoll’s and others and taught classes at colleges and privately. With over 30 years of experience, she has excelled as an editor, professional recipe developer, and corporate spokesperson.
