States people are surprisingly reluctant to leave

So which states have the strongest hold on the people born there? These are some of America’s “stickiest” states—and the factors that may help explain why so many natives stay.
Texas
Texas is officially the “stickiest” state in America. The Dallas Fed found that a staggering 82% of people born in Texas still live there. That is a massive retention rate.
