The Ultimate Guide to Peloton’s Prenatal Program (and all Class Links!)
This article was originally published on Champagne and Coffee Stains.
When I was pregnant with my baby I was so excited to see that Peloton was beginning to expand their library to include prenatal and postnatal workouts!
Robin, one of the tread, strength, and cycling instructors, was also pregnant and was creating a bunch of new content for moms.
I knew that I wanted to continue working out throughout my pregnancy but I also wanted to make sure that I was doing things safely.
I found that Robin’s workouts were perfect and taught me so much!
In this post I’ll share with you everything you need to know about Peloton’s pregnancy classes, how to find them, my must-have gear how I used them, and links to all the workouts.
Prenatal vs. Regular Classes
So what exactly is the difference between the pregnancy classes and regular classes?
Not a whole lot!
What makes the prenatal programs different is that they only include pregnancy-safe moves.
The nice thing with the prenatal classes is that most of the moves are moves you’d find in a regular class.
However, in the pregnancy classes, Robin teaches you how to modify depending on how far along you are.
I found the classes really insightful and it helped me learn how to modify my non-prenatal classes.

Prenatal Class Review
You can read my full review of the prenatal program here
I started the prenatal program towards the end of my first trimester (I was just too tired to workout before then!).
My first impression was that I was surprised there were only a handful of strength and cycling class, but as I went through the series I started to realize that I could actually take what I was learning in these prenatal classes and apply them to the regular strength cycling and classes.
For strength, I ended up doing all the prenatal ones, and once I completed that I’d start taking regular classes.
For any movements I wasn’t comfortable with I’d swap in one of the moves I learned in Robin’s class.
The only strength classes I did stick 100% to the prenatal ones were the core classes. I actually did some of the Hardcore on the Floor calendar while pregnant and again, just modified the moves the classes called for.
For cycling, I more listened to my body and took it easier than what was called out.
I tried to keep up with my Power Zone Pack challenge but found it was too tough towards the end, especially with any classes over 60 minutes.
I’m not a big yoga person so never really did any of those classes.
Whoops!
It is nice to see, though, they do consistently update those classes and add new ones all the time.
I ended up working out up until my induction date, at 41 weeks and 4 days. I do think staying active did help with my labor and made recovery a lot easier!
You can see how I worked out in my first trimester, second trimester and third trimester.
Pregnancy Workout Essentials
During my pregnancy I found my must-haves were:
Reebok Deck – I loved using this to modify my moves.
I still use it now in my postpartum workouts, as well as for lifting with my Tempo Studio. I got mine on Amazon here.
Foucome Bike Shorts – I loved these shorts for biking!
They were super comfortable and I was able to wear them my entire pregnancy.
Foucome Running Shorts – Like the bike shorts, I loved these shorts and ended up wearing a pair almost every day.
They held up amazing and still look great, even after all the wear and washes!
How to Find Prenatal Classes
There’s a few different ways to find Prenatal (and postnatal content) on Peloton.
For Strength, you can filter in the classes to “pre/postnatal” under the class type and it’ll bring up all the prenatal classes.
There’s also a collection that has them under the collections tab – the one with Robin has all the strength (you can click here to get to the collection or search for it under collections) as well as cycling classes, and the yoga one has all the yoga classes with Kristin and Anna.
For cycling, the only way to find the classes is to go into the Robin prenatal collection (click here to get to it), or click on the class links above.
For yoga, the prenatal classes can be filtered under class type or can be accessed through a collection.
Final Thoughts
Peloton has a lot of different content to offer for prenatal and postnatal fitness, and it’s always growing!
I think they have a great variety of classes, and it’s nice to see the instructors continuing to add more.
If you’re looking for an at-home workout program that has a lot of options, I would definitely recommend checking out the Peloton prenatal and postnatal workouts.
